Benjamin James Kelly
As a bass player, Ben has been an incredibly prolific and active presence for the last 7 years, making his name with a number of projects around the Twin Cities (John Mark Nelson, Sexy Delicious, Saftey Ranger and literally dozens more). However, for the last three years he has also stepped into the realm of live theater as both writer, producer and actor. He is the creator of "Project Coffee Pot", "Bear & The Barrel", and "Chewing Marbles", all original theatrical works he has produced around the Twin Cities. Ben is also the founder of Good Arts Collective, a Minneapolis-based co-op of local artists, musicians and writers which seeks to enrich and strengthen the TC art scene through collaboration and coordination.
A Summa Cum Laude graduate from the Berklee College of Music, Nate is a drummer and educator living and working in Minneapolis, MN. In addition to Rachel's band, he can currently be seen performing with the Nashville-based electro-folk group Foreign Fields, and Minneapolis-based acts John Mark Nelson (GNDwire Records) and Kara Laudon. Nate teaches lessons at the esteemed MacPhail Center for Music in Minneapolis and is an Assistant Director of the Chaska High School Marching Band where he oversees the drumline. He has been making a name for himself as a true musical chameleon, bringing a deep sense of musicianship and pocket to the wide variety of projects he works on. He is an endorser of Risen Drums, a Minneapolis-based custom drum shop.
